Where does Open Leadership fit in the evolution of organization management?

From one perspective, Open Leadership fits as an extension of Open Book Management that was adopted as a management practice years ago by Industrial Era organizations. On the other hand, it also aligns with the principle of Radical Transparency that is frequently seen in pioneer organizations inventing alternate structures and new operating styles for a post-Industrial world.

Out of curiosity – how do you see your work on Open Leadership? Part of the next step in fixing common dysfunctions found in bureaucratic organizations? Or part of the effort to reinvent the organization for a post-Industrial World?
